We are a dedicated group of volunteers who have provided support for survivors of a stroke in the Thornbury district of South Gloucestershire since 1981. We are affiliated with the UK Stroke Association and we are also a registered charity in our own right.
Thornbury Stroke Group is run by elected Trustees who comply with the requirements of the Charity Commission. We have a robust management structure in place that is supported by a comprehensive constitution with policies and procedures to make sure that our members best interests are looked after. Money from fundraising and donations is carefully managed so that our members get the maximum benefit.
If you, or someone you know, has suffered a stroke, please browse our web site to find out what we do and how we may be able help.
We are always looking for volunteers and support, so if you can help in any way we would like to hear from you.
If you can give us your help by volunteering, making a donation or if you want to sponsor us, you can be sure your contribution, however big or small, will make a difference.
